Back Heating Brace

The recovery from disc hernias and similar injuries will be easier and faster with the heating brace.

The heating brace provides support to the back and increases blood flow in the lumbar and thoracic areas. This protects the spine and the muscles around it while reducing pain. It is made from the revolutionary Welltex® material, developed at the intersection of Chinese medicine and modern orthopedic materials, supported by scientific studies. The final product is an optimal blend of polyester and ceramic particles. These particles are fused with polyester fibers during production. When the brace heats up, the ceramic particles emit the heat back to the body.

This reflected heat is long-wave infrared radiation that has a calming effect on the dog, and the mild heat reduces inflammation, muscle tension, and blood flow. Consequently, it helps reduce pain and promotes recovery of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints after injuries or surgeries. It is easily applied and fastened with Velcro straps.

We do not recommend it only for recovery after surgeries or injuries but primarily as a preventive measure against injuries. It warms the muscles before physical activity, thus reducing the likelihood of tissue tears.

Which size to choose?

1. Using a measuring tape or string, measure the circumference of the chest just behind the front legs as shown below.
2. Compare with the circumference in the table below. If you are in doubt between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one.
