New Solution for Stabilizing and Protecting Your Dog's Elbows
- Exclusive in Europe
- Designed and tested by veterinary orthopedists.
This elbow brace improves mobility, the stride, reduces and has a beneficial effect on hygromas, and provides support to dogs with arthritis.
Who is the elbow brace intended for?
We recommend it for the treatment of hygromas, inflamed sebaceous glands, pimples, ulcers, elbow dysplasia, arthritis, swelling, and paralysis. The protective pads reduce arthritic pain and improve mobility due to the warmth and support created by the material itself. Elbow joint protectors are also added to protect paws and joints from impacts and hard surfaces.
When is the elbow brace used for dogs?
- After surgery and in conservative treatment
- For hygroma and bursitis
- For joint instability and hypermobility
- For elbow osteoarthritis
- For elbow arthritis
- For elbow dysplasia
- For proprioceptive deficit
How to choose the right size?
It is important to accurately measure the circumference of the paw and choose the appropriate size. This brace is developed to protect the joint and not to restrict movement, which can inadvertently be caused by choosing an incorrect size. Be accurate while measuring, the dog should stand still.
- Using a tailor's tape or string, measure the circumference of the paw.
- Measure the circumference of the elbow (refer to mark no. 2 in the image)
- Compare it with the circumference in the table below. If you are in doubt between two sizes, opt for the larger one.
Size | Paw Circumference | Breed Example |
XS | 7.5 – 11.5 cm | Cocker Spaniel, Whippet |
S | 11.6- 16 cm | Springer Spaniel, Border Collie |
M | 16.1 – 20.5 cm | Labrador, Dalmatian |
L | 20.6 – 25 cm | German Shepherd, Golden Retriever |
XL | 25.1 – 32 cm | Rottweiler |
Note: Consult your veterinarian (dog orthopedist) and/or dog physiotherapist before use.
