Dog-friendly harness that stays in place and does not rotate

The Mi2 anti-rotation harness is specifically designed by the dog school Mi2 for dogs with a deep chest. Unlike the standard H harness from Mi2, the strap at the lower part of the chest divides in a Y shape to wrap around the chest and ensure the harness does not spin.

Despite this, the harness does not obstruct the armpits, allowing unrestricted movement of the dog. The adjustable straps, which do not obstruct the armpits and adapt well to your dog's body, ensure comfortable, relaxed, and safe walks.

Ordering and measurement instructions for the dog:

O1 = widest chest circumference
O2 = narrowest circumference (below the last ribs)
H1 = from the withers (between the shoulder blades) to the widest circumference (O1)
H2 = from the withers to the narrowest circumference (O2)
P1 = from the breastbone (first notch under the neck) to O1
P2 = from the breastbone to the narrowest circumference (O2).

Why choose Mi2 harnesses?

Mi2 harnesses are comfortable and health-friendly, causing no physical or psychological harm. They allow free movement and communication with other dogs. The straps are made of nylon, offering benefits such as high mechanical resistance to friction, lightness, and softness to the touch. The material does not irritate either the dog or the handler's hands. It is easy to clean (machine washable, does not shrink, dries quickly, and requires no ironing), is resistent to moths, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic.

The dog school Mi2 recommends and uses H-type harnesses (showing an H on the back and a Y on the chest) for several reasons:

• Psychologically dogs, like any other creatures, feel better when they are not choked and dragged around by the neck. Dogs are punished in very serious situations by a bite to the skin fold on the upper neck; a bite to the lower neck is meant to kill the opponent. Hence, a dog's neck is very sensitive to any touch, especially to pressing and tightening, which continuously happens with collars and choke chains (not to mention other tools like halties, electric collars, collars that spray various liquids at the dog).
• From a health perspective, the neck is also very sensitive. The neck's exterior is covered by skin protected against external factors by fur, but it cannot defend against the injuries that the aforementioned tools can cause.

Potential injuries from using a collar include:

• trachea damage and breathing issues (beware of breeds with flat snouts!!),
• esophagus and sublingual bone damage (difficulty and pain in swallowing),
• lymph node damage (thymus, whose damage is critical in puppies and young dogs!!),
• damage to the thyroid gland, veins, and related eye pressure issues (beware of breeds with flat snouts and bulging eyes!!), disrupted blood flow in and out of the brain,
• muscle tension (damage affecting the movement of the entire body),
• vertebrae and intervertebral disc damage (spinal osteoarthritis and disc herniation), pinched nerves in the cervical spine, and more.

Swedish research showed that 63% of dogs have back problems, with 91% of them frequently pulling on the collar or being pulled by the owners on the collar.

Pulling on the leash not only causes stress, irritability, and negative associations with the environment leading to pulling but can also lead to serious behavioral and other irreversible health problems.

What makes a good harness?

• has a Y shape at the front, centering not on the soft neck area but at the start of the sternum bone.
