The support sling for rear or front legs by Ortocanis is designed to provide easier and more comfortable walking assistance. It offers support to the front or rear legs, enabling dogs to lead fuller lives after injuries or in their old age.

We recommend it for dogs weighing between 4 and 45 kilograms, especially those suffering from arthritis, hip dysplasia in any stage, reduced muscle strength, impaired motor coordination, or other neurological issues.

It provides dogs with security, stability, and support to the front or rear legs, thus facilitating proper posture and easier walking. It also eases the constant lifting for owners and prevents inappropriate movements when lifting their furry friends.

The set includes a sling and leash, that can be maneuvered with the same hand during use. Both aids are made from lightweight materials, comfortable to the touch, and padded at various points. Adjust the sling to the correct size using adjustable straps and secure it with the help of buckles.

How to Install It Correctly

keep the dog as still as possible;
place the legs into the sling loops and tighten them to a suitable circumference with the help of straps;
adjust the leash to the appropriate length.

Initially, the installation process might seem complicated, but once adjusted to the dog's size, using the sling will be simple and straightforward. Instructions for use:

keep the dog as still as possible;
place the legs into the sling loops and tighten them to a suitable circumference with the help of straps;
adjust the leash to the appropriate length.

Recommendations:

for very small dogs, remove the padded part for better effect;
for large dogs, the sling can support more areas on the front and rear limbs;
for dogs under 4 kg and over 45 kg, we recommend using another sling or harness from the Ortocanis line.

Note: the support sling IS NOT SUITABLE for holding the dog in the air; the paws must always touch the ground.
