Complementary feed mixture for dogs and cats needing neuroprotective effects.
DOGOdol® is recommended for all animals requiring neuroprotective effects, such as after surgeries, injuries, stressful or similar situations. Since some of the active ingredients (Boswellia, Spirea, and Vitamin C) have antihemorrhagic properties, it is particularly recommended as a supplement during recovery. It is advisable to take it together with DOGOmaxy® or DOGOmini®.
Also recommended for older dogs
DOGOdol® is rich in antioxidant substances (Boswellia, Spirea, Olea europaea) that have a protective function on the neurological system. The use of the DOGOdol® supplement in older dogs suffering from various types of pain has a beneficial effect on the neurological system. Since it consists of natural ingredients, it can be offered daily to senior dogs. It maintains the functionality of neuronal cells, which are damaged by the natural aging process.
Contains antioxidants, making it beneficial for neuroprotective effects and neuropathic pain. Certain ingredients, especially PEA, belong to the endocannabinoids that enhance the immune response.
If you wish to use DOGOdol® supplement (or any other supplement) during pregnancy, consult a veterinarian beforehand. A veterinarian overseeing your female's pregnancy can assess the feasibility of use. The active ingredients in the supplement are used in a precisely defined composition to provide a beneficial effect on the animal. They do not cause side effects or any toxicity. DOGOteka brand adheres to European guidelines for the feed ingredients registry.
Tip: In particularly severe cases, these two complementary feeds (DOGOdol® + DOGOmaxy® or DOGOmini®) work very well when given simultaneously. We especially recommend this as their effects are complementary and synergistic.

Active Ingredients
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) - chemically, PEA is an amide of palmitic acid with ethanolamine. It is a molecule present in brain tissues. It is also found in foods (soy, tomatoes, eggs, peanuts, peas, etc.). Several studies have shown how PEA levels can change after inflammatory processes. It is known for its antioxidant properties, leading to a neuroprotective effect.
Unsaponifiable fraction of avocado and soy: both oils contain ASU-Avovida®, which has been the subject of numerous studies highlighting effects on joints and muscles. They particularly emphasized chondroprotective action, which seems to be related to an increase in collagen synthesis in joints.
Spirea ulmaria is a perennial herbaceous plant from the Rosaceae family. It grows in moist hilly and mountainous areas, especially near watercourses. In the early 19th century, salicylic acid was first isolated from Spirea ulmaria, the precursor of the well-known "aspirin", produced synthetically and named after this plant. Studies in vitro have shown that polyphenols of Spirea Ulmaria have antioxidant properties.
Phytosterols are plant sterols present in significant amounts in vegetable oils, nuts, legumes, seeds, cereals, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Over the past 15 years, several studies have highlighted the significance of phytosterols, including certain immunological activities.
Boswellia serrata Roxb. ex Colebr. is an extract of frankincense. Studies in vitro and on animal models have shown that boswellic acids inhibit the synthesis of certain immune response mediators, like the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase and leukotrienes, which promote free radical damage.
Olea europaea L. - olive extract. Olive oil is widely researched for its antioxidant power due to its numerous phenolic components. The highest amounts of these substances are found mainly in olive leaves. Phenolic compounds are known for their antioxidant properties or neutralizing free radicals.
Vitamin C - is a water-soluble vitamin essential for various mammals as they do not synthesize it themselves. It is mostly found in plant-based foods like certain fresh acidic fruits (citrus, pineapple, strawberries, cherries, etc.), fresh vegetables (lettuce, chicory, spinach, etc.), fresh vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, etc.), and tubers (potatoes). It is a strong antioxidant and cofactor for a family of biosynthetic and gene-regulating enzymes.
Vitamin C contributes to immune defense by supporting various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune systems. Vitamin C deficiency can lead to decreased immunity. Supplementation of vitamin C is therefore particularly indicated to support immune functions.
