Alevica with the ALIA (Autocoid Local Injury Antagonism) mechanism acts locally antagonistically on mast cells and microglia cells located in the nervous system. Mast cells and microglia are key to the occurrence and maintenance of chronic pain. When activated, they release bioactive mediators that lower the neuron's pain threshold. Oxidative stress caused by free radicals increases neuronal sensitivity to pain. It is innovative and internationally patented."

What is PEA?

PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is a natural substance found in many food sources, both animal and plant-based (e.g., soy). In the animal body, it helps maintain the physiological balance of numerous organ systems and tissues, including the nervous system. In cases of tissue damage from various causes, PEA is produced and affects the pain threshold. In the event of nervous system dysfunction, PEA, among other things, increases the level of endogenous cannabinoids and thus supports function and alleviates nervous system issues. Its effect on mast cells, microglia, and neurons depends on the activation of direct or indirect receptors (e.g., CB1, CB2, PRARα).

In Alevica®, PEA is in an ultramicronized form with high bioavailability and very rapid absorption.

Quercetin is a bioflavonoid commonly found in plants (e.g., onions, apples) that binds free radicals and prevents their pathogenic effects, thereby acting as an antioxidant. By inhibiting free radicals and other inflammatory mediators, it enhances the analgesic effect of PEA. Assists in inflammatory and degenerative diseases.

Use for liquid: Measure the liquid with the provided measuring syringe according to body weight (table), administer directly into the animal's mouth or mix into food. Shake well before use.
