Easy Maintenance of Oral Hygiene for Healthy Oral Mucosa

Restomyl gel is used for various purposes with one common goal; to maintain a healthy oral cavity in dogs.

It can be used in combination with and after dental procedures such as: scaling and polishing, tooth extraction, reduction of periodontal pockets, etc.

It protects and soothes (red and irritated) gums and restores the balance of the oral microbial flora, which is crucial for the formation of bacteria in the mouth. Poor oral hygiene in dogs can lead to excessive bacterial growth, which has a significant impact on and causes an inappropriate oral mucosa pH, which can eventually lead to periodontal disease in dogs.

How does it work?

Adelmidrol is an analogue of palmitoylethanolamide, which maintains proper functioning of the oral mucosa, has a soothing effect, and reduces redness (inflammation).
Phytosphingosine helps maintain the balance of the oral microbial flora and ensures proper oral hygiene and health.
Traumatic acid is a plant-derived substance that maintains the integrity of the oral mucosa.
Hyaluronic acid provides the formulation with strong mucoadhesive properties, optimizing the persistence and effectiveness of other functional principles.

Usage and Dosage: Gently lift the dog's lip and with gentle pressure on the dosing cap of the gel packaging, direct it towards the mouth. Depending on the size of the dog's snout, dosing can be repeated multiple times to distribute the gel throughout the oral cavity. Due to the mucoadhesive action of this type of gel, it soon spreads across the entire oral mucosa, reaching all corners and potential periodontal pockets.

If your dog has dental issues, after a dental surgical procedure or tartar cleaning, the gel can be used 2-3 times a day.
For regular oral hygiene maintenance, dosing once a day is sufficient.
