Older dogs often suffer from heart weakness. Herz-vital syrup helps with heart function in chronic heart insufficiency (or heart failure). The extract of hawthorn and L-carnitine stabilizes and effectively strengthens heart function. Hawthorn (Crataegus) has long been successfully used in human medicine to help with chronic heart weakness.

Active ingredients:

Hawthorn contains flavonoids and procyanidins that increase the strength of the heart muscle, improve blood circulation in the heart, harmonize the heart rhythm, and increase the tolerance of heart muscles to oxygen deficiency.

L-carnitine improves the energy supply of heart and skeletal muscles and increases the strength of heart muscles. L-carnitine is added at 30,000 mg/l.

Scientific studies have shown that adding L-carnitine to working dogs significantly improves their heart in old age. Especially when it was started to be added to young dogs, which cannot synthesize L-carnitine on their own. In the study, 7 out of 20 dogs had a decreased level of L-carnitine in the heart muscle, and with supplementation, this level increased, and the problems disappeared. When the supplementation stopped, the problems returned.
