The cooling coat or jacket is not just a fashion trend; it is an aid and support to help overcome summer heat, which is different, more humid, and more intense than it was years ago, making it increasingly difficult for both people and dogs to endure.

The cooling coat helps your dog maintain its own body temperature and controls the excessive influx of heat on the back and belly. These areas of the body, due to their thin skin and hair, are most exposed to the sun and high temperatures, and areas where dogs have a harder time naturally regulating their body temperature.

The Dry Cooling Vest activates as soon as you fill it with water. The cooling process then begins. The product will never become damp or wet during use, allowing the dog to remain dry despite the cooling effect. The intensity of cooling depends on humidity and airflow.

With the cooling jacket, you can prevent symptoms of heat stress. It's not a fashion statement; often, the cooling coat is crucial in preventing heat stroke in dogs. Our dogs do not sweat through sweat glands as we do, but through their pads and mouth (via panting).

When do we recommend using a cooling coat for dogs?

How does it work?

1. Fill the jacket with water.
2. Hot air causes water evaporation.
3. Evaporation cools the water-filled area.
4. The jacket's surface cools.
5. The cooling effect passes through the fabric layers to the body.

How to put on the Suitical cooling coat in a dog-friendly way?

We all know how important it is to get the dog dressed and undressed quickly and easily, without additional stress for both the dog and us. 1. Put on the jacket so the head goes through the larger opening. (If this type of gear is new to the dog, something they haven’t encountered yet, introduce it and gradually acclimate them to it in the same way as a new harness and other dog equipment.) 2. Fasten all buckles around the belly area and then gently tighten the adjustable ones. 3. It's important to check that the straps are not too tight around the body and neck. This could cause breathing or blood flow problems. !! Important: A properly fitted cooling coat does not shift left or right on the back, and the straps are tightened to the point where you can easily measure two fingers from either side under the strap. The chest area between the legs and below the chin and neck should not be tight and must allow the dog unhindered movement without pressure. Especially in the heat, it's important that the dog has the ability to take deep breaths and exhale through the mouth, as this is how they cool down.

How to activate the cooling coat?

1. Activate the cooling coat by first opening the valve cap. Slowly pour the appropriate amount of water into the valve. Refer to the table below for the required amount of water per size. Then, close the valve.
2. Distribute the water by slowly sliding and pushing your fingers and palm across the surface of the cooling coat to spread the water evenly throughout the interior of the coat. Ensure the water is evenly distributed on all sides.
3. Then, fold the jacket, open the valve cap, and gently squeeze out all excess water. Close the valve cap. The cooling process will start in a few minutes. Gels, cooling, or other chemicals are not needed. The Suitical cooling jacket, with its Dry cooling technology, will be able to cool the dog for up to 3 days.
4. After use, simply dry the jacket.

Care and Cleaning: Cleaning and maintenance of the product is the buyer's responsibility. With regular and prolonged use, color and marking may fade. Following maintenance recommendations will extend the coat's lifespan. Maintenance Recommendations: • fasten all buckles before washing; • we recommend using a laundry bag; • wash at a maximum of 40 degrees; • do not tumble dry, let it air dry; • do not iron; • do not use bleach or other cleaning chemicals.
