Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice
Aloe vera is highly valued for its moisturizing and restorative properties. It is excellent for dry, stressed, and sun-damaged skin.
Propanediol
Propanediol is a plant-based moisturizing agent with antibacterial properties. It is derived from corn sugar.
Coco-glucoside
Coco glucosides are mild surfactants obtained from sugar, exceptionally gentle and cleansing without drying out the skin, making them suitable even for sensitive skin.
Glyceryl oleate
A plant-based emulgator from plant oils and lactic or citric acid. The name refers to the components glycerin (glyceryl), citric acid (citrate), lactic acid (lactate), linoleic acid (linoleate), and oleic acid (oleate). In natural cosmetics, it is used whenever emulsions need to be quickly absorbed and hydrating.
Caprylyl glycol
Caprylyl is a natural moisturizer and mild preservative approved by regulations for certified organic cosmetics.
Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera)
The melting point of coconut oil is about 25 °C. Below this temperature, it is solid but melts upon skin contact. Coconut oil penetrates the skin quickly, providing an immediate smoothing and moisturizing effect without leaving a greasy film. Additionally, upon melting, it absorbs body heat and provides a slight cooling effect—very pleasant for irritated skin. Because of melting and fast absorption, coconut oil feels very soft and beneficial. Furthermore, due to certain fatty acids toxic to some bacteria, coconut oil has a mild deodorizing effect.
Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) seed oil*
Sunflower oil contains many unsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic and oleic acids. It is extremely gentle and an excellent oil for transmitting active ingredients.
Macadamia Ternifolia seed oil
The high content of palmitoleic acids in macadamia nut oil protects the skin from harmful free radicals and moisture loss. It smooths the skin, strengthens the lipid barrier, and promotes regeneration. Macadamia nut oil is especially beneficial since its fatty acids are similar to those in the skin.
Jojoba seed oil (Simmondsia Chinensis)*
Jojoba oil promotes skin elasticity. Chemically it is a liquid wax. It contains fatty alcohols similar to skin sebum, thus easily binding with the skin's lipid layer. Jojoba oil prevents moisture loss without forming a greasy film, has a mild antimicrobial effect, and extends the durability of cosmetic products.
Citric acid
Citric acid regulates the pH value of products. In contrast to humans, dogs have a pH value in a rather neutral range, so grooming products intended for humans are entirely unsuitable for dogs.
Sodium lactate
Sodium lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid. It binds moisture, aids in the removal of dead skin cells, and regulates and stabilizes pH value.
Xanthan gum
Xanthan gum is a natural thickener produced by fermenting sugar-containing substances. Xanthan gum has a moisture-binding effect and is also suitable for sensitive skin.
Tocopherol
Vitamin E prevents oxidation of membrane lipids. It is an antioxidant that protects cells. Vitamin E also binds moisture and promotes cell renewal.
Sodium hydroxide
Sodium hydroxide is a mineral-source pH value regulator.
Lavender oil (Lavandula Angustifolia)
Lavender oil, an essential oil from lavender flowers, is rich in linalool. Together with more than 2000 other components, it promotes quick recovery of stressed and irritated skin. In aromatherapy, its characteristic scent is valued for its calming and harmonizing effects.
Linalool
Linalool is a natural fragrance found, for instance, in the lavender plant.
Hydrogenated vegetable glycerides citrate
A plant-based emulsifier derived from hydrogenated glycerides and citric acid. It stabilizes emulsions and also has a caring effect on the skin.
Geraniol
Geraniol is a natural fragrance and aromatic substance found in essential oils of various plants.
Limonene
Limonene is a naturally occurring compound found in many plants. It is present in citrus fruits as well as in pine needles, coriander, and cumin. The compound can be easily isolated from oranges and lemons and then used as a fragrance.
